TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Confit stainless steel press systems, offered under the assurance of Pnopar, utilize the “cold pressing” method, which is the cutting edge of modern plumbing technology. This system, which requires no welding, threading, or soldering, combines speed, safety, and longevity in a single solution.
Material Quality and Standards
Confit systems are manufactured in two main material groups suitable for the most demanding corrosion conditions and hygiene requirements:
AISI 304 (1.4301): For general-purpose industrial applications, heating lines, and installations where corrosion risk is standard.
AISI 316L (1.4404): For potable water lines, food industry, maritime (shipbuilding), and process lines requiring high chemical resistance. It provides superior corrosion resistance with its 2-3% molybdenum content.

Connection Technology: Pressing System
Our system ensures sealing by mechanically pressing specially designed fittings onto the pipe.
Flame-free Installation: Requires no welding or cutting torches. Therefore, it is safely applied in areas with fire risks (explosive atmospheres, wooden structures, active production facilities).
M & V Profile Compatibility: Thanks to a structure fully compatible with industry-accepted M and V profile press jaws, a secure and standardized seal is achieved.
Hexagonal Deformation: The geometric form created after pressing ensures the connection provides maximum resistance against mechanical tensile and bending forces.
Sealing Elements and Fluid Compatibility (O-Rings)
Confit fittings are supplied with high-quality O-rings pre-installed at the factory according to the application area:
EPDM (Black): Potable water, hot/cold water, and heating systems. (-20°C / +110°C)
FKM (Red/Green): Solar systems, mineral oils, vegetable oils, and high-temperature applications. (-20°C / +200°C)
HNBR (Yellow): Specially approved gas sealing gasket for natural gas, LPG, and methane lines. (-20°C / +70°C)
Key Feature: LBP (Leak Before Press): Thanks to our patented “Leak Before Press” technology, any connections forgotten to be pressed are instantly detected during low-pressure tests. This reduces risks caused by human error to zero.
Operational Limits and Dimensions
Pressure Resistance: Pressure resistance between 16 Bar (standard) and 40 Bar (special applications) depending on the application diameter and pipe wall thickness.
Wide Diameter Range: A complete product range starting from DN15 (15 mm) up to DN150 (168.3 mm) for large industrial lines.
Vacuum Resistance: Thanks to its sealing structure, it is safely used in vacuum lines up to 0.8 bar.
Installation Advantages
Speed: 40-60% faster installation compared to traditional welded connections.
Hygiene: Prevents bacterial growth and limescale formation due to its internal surface smoothness.
Cost: Provides an advantage in total project costs thanks to low labor time and no requirement for consumables (gas, electrodes, etc.).
